🤼‍♂️State Wrestling Send Off🤼‍♂️

Let’s pack Willard Ave and send our Titans off in style! Our State Qualifiers will depart from the school around 3:15 PM, heading east out of town on Willard Avenue from the school "driveway".
We encourage community members to line Willard Ave and show your support as they head to the State Tournament! Let’s give them the energy and encouragement they deserve!

Good luck at State!

"Our 3rd graders enjoyed some sunshine, snacks, and great stories today! 📚☀️ Nothing better than reading AR books outside with friends and fresh air. So proud of these young readers for working hard and making the most of our beautiful day!"

Mrs. Hughes's third-grade class conducted a Valentine’s Day science experiment to observe what happens when conversation heart candies are placed in different liquids: club soda, water, and white vinegar. Students first made predictions about what they thought would happen. They then observed the results and recorded their observations through words and drawings. As a class, we discussed why some conversation hearts floated while others sank, and compared which liquids caused the candies to dissolve more quickly. This hands-on activity helped students practice scientific thinking, observation skills, and cause-and-effect reasoning.

Friday is a No School day. Today, staff was able to deep clean and disinfect all classrooms. I would like to send out a big Thank You to our custodial staff for their efforts.
