Due to the extreme temperatures forecast for Thursday, Twin River Public Schools will have no school on Thursday, February 20.
Twin River students got a hands-on experience in Media class this month! Mrs. Rosno borrowed Code N Go Robot Mouse sets from other libraries which allowed more students to be engaged. Students in 2nd and 3rd grade learned the basics of coding, which can be quite abstract. They had to program the mouse to get to the cheese. Students in 4th-6th grade enjoyed adding obstacles and roadblocks to challenge their classmates. All grades had fun exploring and coding in real life. It was a fun alternative to using technology. Students learned problem solving skills and had to work together. It's a GREAT day to be a Titan! #WeAreTR
Good luck to our state wrestling qualifier, Zach Held! There will be a public send-off today at 3:00pm. The Genoa Fire Department will escort the wrestling team out of town, beginning on the south side of Twin River School. They will then proceed down main street before heading to Omaha! Good luck, Zach!
Twin River Public Schools will have a 10 AM late start tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19. There will be no preschool and buses will run accordingly.
