Twin River baseball is in action tonight starting at 4:30 p.m. against South Sioux City. Games will take place here in Genoa starting with the varsity.

Parents Night for the Twin River Baseball team will be on Thursday, April 13th. Parent and player introductions will take place after the varsity game vs. Fairbury. Information will be coming home with the players tomorrow.
There are two changes to the school calendar due to activities. April 20 will now be a 1:30pm dismissal and on April 25 there will be no school for all students.
Monroe parents/guardians,
Due to an addition of students and changing of some routes, the Monroe pickup will now be at 7:10am with a 7:15am leave time.
The Raymond Central baseball game has been rescheduled for tomorrow, March 30th. It will be a varsity only game due to low numbers from Raymond Central. First pitch is at 5:30 p.m.
Mr. Sidwell and the Twin River Quiz Bowl Team attended the East Husker Quiz Bowl Team in Scribner on Monday, March 27. Out of 15 Teams, the Twin River Quiz Bowl finished as Conference Champions. Mr. Sidwell said that he was incredibly proud of the team's perfect 7-0 record for the night.

Baseball scheduling update:
Twin River baseball will head to Fort Calhoun TOMORROW in a makeup from the 3/17/23 postponement. Varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by JV.
We were honored to have First Lady Suzanne Pillen read the book "I Love Strawberries" to our elementary students!


A couple activity updates:
1. The baseball game vs. Raymond Central scheduled for today, 3/27, has been postponed due to field conditions.
2. The golf triangular scheduled for today (3/27) has also been postponed.
We will work toward makeup dates if possible.
One other baseball scheduling update:
The April 4th game at DC West has been moved to April 21st--same time and same place.
2 baseball schedule updates:
Tomorrow, March 25th, Twin River takes on Hastings in a varsity only game at 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, May 2nd, Twin River Baseball will take on Omaha Benson here in Genoa. Varsity begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by JV. This is a new add to the schedule.
Congratulations to our winter sports/activities Academic All-State recipients.

Just a reminder the junior class will be taking the ACT tomorrow, March 21. Students will need to report to the Genoa City Hall at 7:45am. Juniors are allowed to leave for the day when done testing.
The baseball game on Saturday, March 25th versus Hastings High will be a single varsity only game beginning at 11 a.m.
The Fort Calhoun baseball game has been cancelled due to not being able to find an agreeable reschedule date.
Twin River Track & Field gets their season underway today as they head to the Doane Indoor Meet. Competition starts at 10 a.m.
