Due to the county roads, Twin River Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 19. Next Friday, January 26, will be a full student day.
Twin River Public Schools will have a two hour late start on Friday, January 19. No morning preschool. Bussing will run where possible. A decision on activities to be determined.
Due to weather impacting both the Elm Creek and Cross County Wrestling Invites last week, Twin River HS Wrestling will now travel to Oakland-Craig this Saturday, January 20th for their invite. Wrestling starts at 9 a.m.

A couple schedule updates:
Tonight, HS Basketball will take on Aquinas Catholic with varsity girls starting at 5:30 and varsity boys to follow.
The Lyons-Decatur Northeast JV/Varsity boys only games originally scheduled for this past Saturday, have been rescheduled for Thursday, January 25th in Monroe with JV starting at 4:30 p.m. and varsity starting at approximately 6 p.m. To note, there will not be concessions for these games! Again, the JV and Varsity games will take place in Monroe due to a HS Wrestling triangular taking place in Genoa.
Twin River Public Schools will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16. There will be no morning preschool. Bussing will be limited.
Due to low girls numbers for Giltner, there will be no JV girls game this Friday, January 19th. JV boys will play at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity girls and varsity boys. All games will take place in Genoa.
The HS Speech Meet scheduled for Wednesday, January 17th at Howells-Dodge has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 14th.
The JH Boys basketball game versus Aquinas Catholic scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed. A reschedule date will be looked into.
The HS Wrestling Triangular in Fairbury scheduled for this past Thursday, has been rescheduled for Friday, January 26th.
Due to the poor weather and road conditions, Twin River Public Schools will be closed on Monday, January 15. There will be no activities or practices.
The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest that was to be held at Twin River has been moved to next Sunday, January 21st.
The Cross County Wrestling Invite scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled.
Due to the predicted weather, Twin River Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 12. There will be no activities or practices. Stay safe and warm.
Next Thursday, January 18th, there will be no JV girls at Clarkson/Leigh. Boys JV will start at 4:30 p.m. followed by Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys. Games are in Leigh.

- JV Girls at 5 p.m. (2, 6-minute quarters)
- Varsity girls to follow at approximately 6 p.m.
As a reminder, this is girls only at Cross County (Stromsburg).
