With last night's 51-47 win over Shelby-Rising City, Twin River Boys Basketball advanced to the next round of the C2-4 Sub-district tournament tonight. They will play the host, Cross County at 5:30 p.m. at Cross County High School (Stromsburg). Tonight, Twin River Boys Basketball takes on Humphrey St. Francis in their final games at home this season. We will also have cheerleading parents night prior to the start of the varsity boys warmups. On Friday, February 16th, Twin River Boys Basketball hosts Humphrey St. Francis. JV begins at 5 p.m. (3 quarters) followed by our Cheerleading Parents Night, and, finally, the boys varsity contest. Cheerleading parents, please plan to be in the gym by 5:35 p.m. Thank you, as always, for your support.

The C2-4 Sub-district bracket was released this morning. Twin River will travel to Cross County (Stromsburg) on Monday, February 19th to take on Shelby-Rising City starting at 6:30 p.m. Due to this being an NSAA event, no passes are accepted.

Post Prom will be offering a Sloppy Joe meal during the St. Edward basketball games on Friday, February 9th. Come enjoy a delicious meal and some Titan Basketball! Varsity girls at 5:30 p.m. followed by Varsity boys (No JV)

The C2-5 Girls Sub-district bracket has been posted. Twin River will open their postseason play by taking on Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family on Monday, February 12th at 6 p.m. Game is at Cross County High School (Stromsburg). Due to it being an NSAA event, no passes are accepted.

Scheduling update for tomorrow: HS Basketball travels to take on Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family tomorrow, February 8th. The games are in Lindsay. JV Girls will start with 2 quarters at 4 p.m. followed by JV Boys, Varsity girls and Varsity boys.

Prior to school starting today, the school received a call from the Nance County Sheriff’s Office of a potential threat nearby the school. The school was advised to get all students into the building and conduct a lockout/secure procedure. Once we received notification the situation was under control, the school was put back to normal operations.
