
The Columbus Area Chamber Holiday Basketball Tournament will take place Friday, December 29th and Saturday, December 30th at Scotus Central Catholic High School. Twin River Girls and Boys JV and Varsity teams will be in action. You can find the bracket along with game times on the document that is attached.


A couple of scheduling notes for upcoming games:
- For the 12/15/2023 games vs. Fullerton, both JV games will take place in Genoa. There will be 2 quarters of JV girls starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by 2 quarters of JV boys and then the varsity games. Prior to the start of the boys varsity game, we will be recognizing the 2023-2024 Twin River Boys state qualifying team. TR Booster Club will also be sponsoring a pulled pork meal during the games.
- For the 12/16/2023 JH girls basketball game vs. Fullerton, that will be one game due to lower numbers for Fullerton starting at 9:30 a.m. in Monroe.

The junior high girls basketball game vs. Osceola on Monday, December 4th has been moved to a 6 p.m. start. It will be one game due to lower numbers for Osceola.

The HS basketball games versus Nebraska Christian tomorrow, November 30th will be live-streamed on the link below. Please note that it is a pay-per-view link meaning you will be required to pay to stream the game.

HS Basketball is in action this afternoon as they host the jamboree triangular with Doniphan-Trumbull and Fillmore Central. Games begin at 1 p.m. $6 for adults, 5 for students. Passes are not accepted. Proceeds go to benefit the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame.
As a reminder each game today consists of two (2) 8-minute quarters.

A few basketball scheduling notes:
- The January 5th games v. David City has been cancelled. In its place, we have picked up games (girls & boys) vs. St. Edward on February 9th at home with girls JV at 4:30 PM in Silver Creek and JV boys in Genoa at the same time. Varsity girls will play at approximately 6:00 PM followed by Varsity boys.
- The schedule for games vs. Central City on 1/2/2024 has been changed slightly. The boys JV game will be played in Genoa starting at 1 p.m. with the girls JV game being played in Silver Creek also at 1 p.m. The varsity boys game will be played at 2:30 p.m. in Genoa followed by varsity girls.
The schedule for the games vs. Aquinas Catholic on 1/9/2023 has also changed slightly. Boys JV will be played in Genoa starting at 4:30 PM with girls JV being played in Monroe at the same time. Boys Varsity will be played in Genoa starting at 6:00 PM followed by Girls Varsity.
All times are subject to change and will be announced if any changes occur.

The 2023-2024 basketball season will bring about a rule change that will take some getting used to by all involved. Please be patient with officials and scoreboard operators as we get used to this change.


Twin River Public Schools will be hosting a Veterans Day Program tomorrow afternoon, November 10th, 2023 at 1:45 p.m. in the big gym. The public is welcome to attend!


HS Volleyball begins sub-district play today as they take on Aquinas Catholic at 4:30 p.m. in Clarkson. As a reminder, no passes are accepted. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for kids. If you are unable to make it to the game in person, it will be live streamed at: https://clpatsathletics.com.
With a win, Twin River would play again at approximately 7:00 p.m. against Clarkson/Leigh.
