The 6th Grade Student of the Month for November for Mrs. Eisenmenger’s class is Ruth Dempcy. Ruth is known for being polite and respectful, and is kind to those around her. She has a wonderful attitude and puts forth maximum effort in all activities and subjects. Ruth is a responsible student who is attentive, participates well, and always gets her assignments done on time. She is not afraid of new situations, and is always willing to learn new things, even if they may be hard. She is a role model for those around her, even when no one is watching! Keep up the good work!
The 6th Grade Student of the Month for November for Ms. Roger’s class is Bentley Zimmer. Bentley consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to his studies, putting in a significant amount of time to complete his work with care. His willingness to ask questions reflects his desire to understand concepts deeply and do things correctly. Bentley will put in the time it takes to learn, study, and do his work efficiently. Additionally, he shows remarkable kindness and respect towards others, in many ways as well as he will often offer his help to younger students with their reading and math, which highlights his leadership qualities. Bentley has shown consistent ability to meet challenges and support his peers, which is commendable.
The 5th Grade Student of the Month for November for Mrs. Thomas’s Class is Greyson Pearson. Greyson has a true excitement for learning. He comes in everyday ready to learn. He has a love of history, to the point where I learn facts from him at times! His level of reading is so high, that he has started using the High School library to find books of interest for him.
Not only does he have a love for reading, but he is also a respectful classmate to all.
He is going to do great things in life. You are what a Titan should be. We are proud to call you Student of the Month, Greyson Pearson!!!
The 5th Grade Student of the Month for November for Mrs. Lund’s Class Alexa Sapp. Alexa works hard and always tries her best. She follows directions and tries to help out her classmates. She is a good friend to all and is helpful in the classroom.




We had nine students attend the Sportsmanship and Leadership Summit in Norfolk today. They were able to hear positive messages from Kevin Kush on being Great Teammates. Rob Miller shared about creating Team Covenants, and Diane Shuck discussed building a positive game day culture

On Friday, November 22nd, Twin River students are encouraged to invite a buddy to breakfast. Student Council will serve muffins, donuts, and juice to show our appreciation to the important people in our students' lives who help shape their education. Forms have been sent out with students to sign up for breakfast. Breakfast with a Buddy will take place from 7:30 to 7:50 am. We hope to see you there! It's a GREAT day to be a Titan! #WeAreTR

In library class last week, students read a book called “My Teacher for President” then discussed characteristics of a good leader. Each student wrote a letter to their teacher saying why they’d make a great president. Common themes were that our teachers are respectful, dedicated, and caring. They help students and are passionate about their jobs! It's a GREAT day to be a Titan! #WeAreTR

The Junior class spent the day in Fullerton at County Government Day! Students get to be involved in a Mock trial case and always enjoy learning at this event!

Students in FCS 7 started their unit on Child Development this week. After learning about physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development they were encouraged to "paint" their desks with pudding! The class used this activity to discuss how it relates to all areas of development as well as sensory development, the use of fine motor skills, and how it is developmentally appropriate for children and what ages it would enhance development!

Students in Personal Health and FCS 8 learned about vaping and the process of addiction. For Halloween they created a Haunted Stairwell with facts learned in class!
