With last night's 51-47 win over Shelby-Rising City, Twin River Boys Basketball advanced to the next round of the C2-4 Sub-district tournament tonight. The C2-5 Girls Sub-district bracket has been posted. Twin River will open their postseason play by taking on Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family on Monday, February 12th at 6 p.m. Game is at Cross County High School (Stromsburg). Due to it being an NSAA event, no passes are accepted.
Scheduling update for tomorrow: HS Basketball travels to take on Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family tomorrow, February 8th. The games are in Lindsay. JV Girls will start with 2 quarters at 4 p.m. followed by JV Boys, Varsity girls and Varsity boys.
Prior to school starting today, the school received a call from the Nance County Sheriff’s Office of a potential threat nearby the school. The school was advised to get all students into the building and conduct a lockout/secure procedure. Once we received notification the situation was under control, the school was put back to normal operations.
