The Twin River Lady Titans struggled on the offensive end Friday in David City and came home with a 51-21 defeat at the hands of the Scouts.

Clara Preister led the Titans with 11 points to lead the way offensively. However, the ladies shot only 20% as a team from the field including 0-13 from the three point line. The struggles also were seen at the free throw line as the girls made only 5/16 at the charity stripe.

Coach Pilakowski said, “Honestly it was not a very good performance by us tonight. We thought this was a team we could compete with and it was not to be. We started off shooting poorly and never got that turned around. And we let ourselves get pushed around, especially in the first half. It had been a week between games due to a weather cancellation. However that can’t be used an excuse -we just need to be better in all aspects than we were tonight.”

The Titans fell to 2-8 with loss and will take on Madison, Aquinas and Cross County in upcoming games.
