Entrepreneurial Spotlight- Jose Quintanilla
Entrepreneur Jose Quintanilla was interviewed by two FBLA members Marcie Spitz and Lindy Schmidt. Jose owns Quintanilla Roofing out of Genoa, Nebraska. The members asked him a few questions about business. Some of the risks at owning his own business is having lawsuits, having no business, and bankruptcy. Jose stated that the pros of having your own business is getting to have his own hours and the success is his choice. The cons for his business is having to work a lot. The girls asked what adjustments he has made to stay competitive, and he said that he has added more construction services. Education for his business was that he worked as a roofer for many years. The biggest challenge Jose had and the way he overcame it was getting credit from companies, little by little. He encourages people to follow their path and if they like it then do it. Jose said it took about five years to start gaining profit. He wants to let everyone know that anything is possible and it is never too late.
