STATE FBLA LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
What an exciting conference! Twin River FBLA members made their mark on the state level in many competitive events. Twenty-one students competed in various events and seminars at the Nebraska State FBLA Leadership Conference in Kearney on April 3-5. Our school and community can be very proud of these young individuals for their outstanding achievements.
One FBLA member received the Nebraska All-State Quality FBLA Leadership Award. The active membership involvement of the following individual led to this state honor: Cooper Zabka

Chloe Pilokowski, Faith Zimmer, Cooper Zabka, and Delaney Reeg served as voting delegates to select the new 2023-2024 State FBLA Leadership Team.
The Twin River FBLA Chapter received the Gold Seal of Merit Award. This award recognizes outstanding chapters that have actively participated in projects and programs identified with the goals of FBLA. The chapter also received the Sweepstakes Award. This is a state award presented to chapters who have demonstrated extensive involvement in the total FBLA program. All chapters are eligible to apply, but only those chapters who have successfully completed at least ten of twelve activities will even be considered for this honorary award. At least two business reports must be part of the activities completed in the areas of Community Service, Partnership with Business, Local Annual Report, or American Enterprise.
The chapter completed many ribbon projects where members completed several smaller projects to complete the rubric for the ribbon. They also donated to several worthy organizations.

On June 28-July 3, one member earned their right by placing in the top three to compete at the 2023 National FBLA Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. As our national qualifier competes in his respective event, he will be representing our chapter, school, community, and state.
